Finaos 2026 in San Juan (Telde): folk scenes, tales and concerts
Telde town council celebrates Finaos on Saturday 31 October in San Juan. At 19:30 the Casa Condal hosts «El legado de los Finaos», with living folk scenes, roasted chestnuts and a Finaos dance; at 20:00 there are Finaos tales in the Iglesia Hospitalaria de San Pedro Mártir de Verona, and in the plaza de San Juan El Último Que Cierre (20:30) and Arístides Moreno & 101 Brass Band (22:30) take the stage.
The Culture department of Telde town council organises a Finaos edition dedicated to the generations who kept popular customs alive and passed them on at home. The night brings together traditional folk scenes, roasted chestnuts, storytelling and live music in San Juan. «El legado de los Finaos» is organised by the Escuela Municipal de Folclore de Telde, with groups from the school, the Parranda El Volumen, the Asociación Cultural Erasmo Hernández and the Asociación de Vecinos Roque Azucarero.
Programme for Saturday 31 October 2026: at 19:30, «El legado de los Finaos» at the Casa Condal (calle Conde de la Vega Grande, 9), with living folk scenes, roasted chestnuts and a Finaos dance; at 20:00, Finaos tales by the Taller de Juglares in the Iglesia Hospitalaria de San Pedro Mártir de Verona; at 20:30, a concert by El Último Que Cierre in the plaza de San Juan; and at 22:30, Arístides Moreno & 101 Brass Band, also in the plaza de San Juan.
