«Retrospectum (2005-2025)» exhibition by Manolo Yanes at the Convento de Santo Domingo, La Lagunaverified
«Retrospectum (2005-2025)» looks back on two decades of work by Tenerife painter Manolo Yanes, with a selection of figurative paintings in which drawing, colour, composition and the human body take centre stage. It is on show from 23 October to 25 November at the Exconvento de Santo Domingo in San Cristóbal de La Laguna, Monday to Friday mornings and afternoons and Saturday mornings.
«Retrospectum (2005-2025)» brings together a selection of paintings Manolo Yanes made between 2005 and 2025, works that define his figurative style, with drawing, colour and composition to the fore and the human body as a running thread. Yanes is a painter from Tenerife who studied Geography and History at the University of La Laguna and trained at the Escuela de Bellas Artes in Santa Cruz; he lives and works between France and Spain.
The exhibition is open from Friday 23 October to Wednesday 25 November at the Exconvento de Santo Domingo, on Calle Santo Domingo in San Cristóbal de La Laguna. Opening hours: Monday to Friday from 11:00 to 14:00 and from 17:00 to 20:00, and Saturdays from 11:00 to 14:00.
