Eólica Festival 2026verified
Eólica returns to the ITER in Granadilla on 16 and 17 October with two days of electronic music across four stages, each with its own identity. Friday brings Sama' Abdulhadi, Jayda G, Horse Meat Disco, Hunee and Rainer Trüby; Saturday has Whomadewho in a hybrid set, Âme live, Eris Drew, Octo Octa and the Gusgus DJ set. Around the music there are workshops, exhibitions, talks and documentaries.
Eólica is the Canary Islands festival of electronic music and sustainability, held on 16 and 17 October 2026 at the ITER, the Institute of Technology and Renewable Energy in Granadilla de Abona. The site sits among wind turbines, and that is part of the point: the music shares the ground with scientific research and with care for the surroundings.
Friday the 16th brings Sama' Abdulhadi, Jayda G, Horse Meat Disco, Hunee, Rainer Trüby, Dee Diggs, Tsha, Xoel López and Funambulista, among others. Saturday the 17th has Whomadewho in a hybrid set, Âme live, Eris Drew, Octo Octa, the Gusgus DJ set from Biggi Veira, Danilo Plessow, Juana la Cubana, Víctor Ruiz and Vive la Fête.
There are four stages with distinct musical identities, and around them the festival programmes exhibitions, workshops, guided visits, recycled art, talks and round tables, and documentary screenings. On Friday, in the auditorium, the book «Música electrónica en España» is presented at 19:00 and the documentary Manchester Keeps On Dancing is screened at 20:00. On Saturday at 18:00 there is the live podcast Palique Divulgativo on the central square stage.
