Trío de Raíz concert – III ENATIMverified
Trío de Raíz, made up of Alberto González (timple), Gabriel Rodríguez (flute) and Manuel Cerpa (guitar), takes Canarian folklore as the root and anchor of the timple and sets it in dialogue with flamenco, an international genre with very similar roots, in an instrumental repertoire that reworks flamenco styles. A III ENATIM concert in Puerto del Rosario. For all audiences; free invitation with a 5 euro deposit.
Trío de Raíz brings together Alberto González on timple, Gabriel Rodríguez on flute and Manuel Cerpa on guitar. The project respects Canarian folklore as the root and anchor of the timple and, from that tradition, opens up to new sound worlds, keeping strummed playing and tradition as the basis for dialogue with other musical languages.
The trio sets out to bring flamenco, an international genre with very similar roots, closer to Canarian folklore; the flamenco guitar contributes both tradition and renewal in a repertoire that reworks flamenco styles in an instrumental format. It is part of III ENATIM and suitable for all audiences, with a free invitation and a 5 euro deposit. The concert is at the Palacio de Formacion y Congresos in Puerto del Rosario on Sunday 25 October 2026 at 20:00.
