The Cabalgata Anunciadora brings the carnival out onto the street and officially opens the week of festivities in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. It sets off on Friday 19 February 2027 at 19:30 from Plaza de la República Dominicana, with murgas, comparsas, music groups and floats taking part, led by the carnival queen and her attendants.
The starting point is on Avenida Reyes Católicos, 38007 Santa Cruz de Tenerife. The same day sees the contest of decorated floats and cars, leaving from Puente Galcerán at 19:30, and after the parade the first night of street dancing begins in the city centre. The street events of this edition, themed Roma Eterna: El Imperio del Carnaval, run until 28 February.
