«BoBo», a puppet show by Periferia Teatro at the Teatro Cine Realejosverified
On Saturday 24 October at 18:00, the Teatro Cine Realejos presents «BoBo», the family puppet show by Periferia Teatro. A little penguin from the South Pole learns he is going to have a baby brother and feels like a dethroned prince, until he realises he has gained a friend. It lasts 50 minutes and won the 2025 Premio Azahar for Best Children's Show. Tickets at the online box office.
At the South Pole lives the Pingüin family: mum fishes in the afternoons, dad in the mornings, and little Bobo only wants to eat and play. Everything changes when they tell him he is going to have a baby brother. «BoBo» is a puppet show about what happens when a child has to share their parents' affection, told with humour through a penguin's adventures. In 2025 it won the Premio Azahar for Best Children's Show and Best Original Music, and the Premio Alfonso X de Teatro in Murcia.
It is performed by Mariso García and Ana Morcillo, directed by Juan Manuel Quiñonero, with music by Pedro Guirao. It is for families, lasts 50 minutes and is part of the Los Realejos council's cultural programme; tickets are sold through its online box office. The performance is on Saturday 24 October 2026, from 18:00 to 18:50, at the Teatro Cine Realejos.
