Centro de Buceo El Bajón
A dive centre in La Restinga, in the municipality of El Pinar de El Hierro, the point of access to the seabed off the south of the island. The centre presents itself as a family project from El Hierro and organises dives, diving and instructor courses, nautical training, boat charter, cetacean watching and accommodation for those coming to dive over several days.
The centre works out of La Restinga, the fishing village at the southern tip of El Hierro from which divers enter the sea on this side of the island. On its own website it describes itself as a business born of the enthusiasm and work of a family from El Hierro, set on bringing visitors close to the wildlife and the less obvious corners of these waters.
The offer goes beyond guided dives: diving and instructor courses, nautical training and a virtual classroom, boat charter, cetacean watching trips, travel and accommodation. The site also carries a virtual tour of the centre, an underwater photography gallery and information about the island, its viewpoints and its bathing spots.
