Mercado Municipal del Puerto de La Cruz

The Mercado Municipal of Puerto de la Cruz fills a covered building on Avenida Blas Pérez González, a few minutes on foot from the old town and the fishing harbour. Inside you find stalls of fruit and vegetables, fish landed on the nearby coast, butchers, cheesemongers and counters of Canarian honey and mojo sauces, alongside food bars run by young local traders. A recent refurbishment modernised the building without erasing its old recova character.
