Mercado del Agricultor de Los Silos

On Sunday mornings the farmers market of Los Silos takes over Plaza de la Luz, beside the church in the middle of the old town. This is Isla Baja country, banana plantations on one side and terraced market gardens on the other, and the growers bring down whatever they have just cut. It is a short, walkable market where people stop to talk, and a good way to read the mood of the village.
