La Puntilla (Charco del Conde)
El Charco del Conde: a natural pool of shallow, calm water at La Puntilla, ideal with children.

In Valle Gran Rey, the La Puntilla area is home to the Charco del Conde, a natural pool of shallow, very calm water, sheltered from the swell. It is by far the best spot in the valley to go with children, or for anyone after a calm dip on black sand. There are a few services and a pleasant promenade nearby, and the atmosphere is family-friendly and relaxed. When the sea at La Calera turns rough, here the water stays gentle.
