7th Bimbache Trail Valverde 2026 (long-distance start)verified
The Bimbache Trail, the long distance of the 7th Bimbache Trail Valverde, starts at 09:30 from Las Playas, at the Parador de El Hierro, and finishes in Valverde. A bus takes runners from Valverde bus station to the start at 08:00. The Media Bimbache Trail starts at 11:00 and the Mini Bimbache Trail at 11:45. Race bibs are handed out on Friday 13 November at the Casino de Valverde.
The long course runs through Las Casas, La Llanía, San Andrés and the Ruta del Agua before reaching the finish in Valverde, with aid stations along the way. Cut-off times are 12:30 at La Llanía, 14:00 at San Andrés and 15:30 at the finish. The organisers point out that some gear is mandatory and that, if it rains, several descents may be muddy, above all on the Ruta del Agua.
Race bibs are handed out on Friday 13 November from 17:00 to 21:30 at the Casino de Valverde, where a meal is also served to participants after the race. Medals and trophies are presented at around 17:00 in front of the casino. The bus to the start leaves Valverde bus station at 08:00, and the Bimbache Trail starts from Las Playas, at the Parador de El Hierro, on Saturday 14 November 2026 at 09:30.
