The Ciclo de Cámara at the Auditorio de Tenerife Adán Martín welcomes the guitarist Pablo Sáinz-Villegas, described by Billboard as the global ambassador of the Spanish guitar. According to the Auditorio, he was the first solo guitarist to play at Carnegie Hall in New York since Andrés Segovia.
The announced programme includes the 5 Preludes by Villa-Lobos, Aire by Francisco Coll, Bach's Chaconne BWV 1004 in the performer's own arrangement, Turina's Fantasía Sevillana op. 29, Un sueño en la floresta by Barrios Mangoré, and Torre Bermeja, Mallorca and Asturias by Albéniz. Sáinz-Villegas also founded the non profit organisation Strings in Common.
