He is joined by Emöke Baráth as Angelica, Sabina Puértolas as Dorinda and Anna Bonitatibus as Medoro. The performance is sung in Italian and carries surtitles in Spanish and English.

The starting point is a soldier who breaks apart inside while everything around him demands heroism, firmness and control, so the work moves through love, suffering and madness and sets vulnerability against rigid expectations. Daniel Espasa is in charge of the musical direction and Rafael Villalobos of the staging. The opera is given on two evenings.
