Orfeo y Eurídice. Un viaje para decir adiós - Gaviera theatre companyverified
A puppet, music and poetry adventure for the whole family, in which Orfeo sets off on a journey to discover that love, friendship and memories can light up even the hardest goodbyes. The Gaviera company’s puppet play, inspired by the classical myth, lasts 35 minutes and is recommended from age 4. Each 10-euro ticket admits one adult and one child, and the audience sits on the stage itself.
In ‘Orfeo y Eurídice: Un viaje para decir adiós’, Orfeo is a young musician who forms a deep bond with Eurídice, a blue macaw escaped from the zoo whose greatest wish is to return to Brazil. When an accident ends the bird’s life, Orfeo crosses different worlds to find her. The play combines live music, visual imagery and a story that children can follow.
Directed by Rosa Escrig, with Adriana Cortés and Ylenia de Luis on stage. The audience is seated on the stage by the front-of-house staff. Each ticket costs 10 euros, covers one adult and one child and carries no discounts. There is another performance the same day at 17:30.
