Memory, family and the passing of time are central to the writing of Manuel Vilas. In this conversation, moderated by writer Carlos Battaglini, director of the Festival de literatura de Lanzarote, the author will go through the main milestones of his career and share the keys to a body of work in which personal experience becomes a reflection on love, loss and the search for meaning. Born in Barbastro in 1962, he is a poet and prose writer whose work is strongly autobiographical. His titles include «Ordesa», «Alegría», «Los besos», «Nosotros», winner of the Premio Nadal 2023, and «El mejor libro del mundo», and his books have been translated into more than twenty languages.
