LORCA por DÁMASO is a poetic, sensory journey into the world of Federico García Lorca through the visual and symbolic eye of Pepe Dámaso. Conceived as a staged concert, it lets music, words, dance and image interact on a route that runs from Lorca’s folk roots to the aesthetic transformation of Poeta en Nueva York.
With music by Ernesto Mateo and Claude Debussy and the world premiere of De suelas y asfalto. New York en un poema y tres cuadros by Juan Manuel Marrero, the show traces a symbolic path between land, sea and city. It takes place in the Sala Principal of the Teatro Pérez Galdós, on Plaza Stagno in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria, on Saturday 31 October 2026 at 20:00.
