Laura Ferrero will explore the relationship between literature and personal experience and how writing can become a way of looking again at what has marked us, reflecting on memory, bonds, identity and the need to find words for what is hard to tell. The talk is moderated by writer Carlos Battaglini, director of the Festival de literatura de Lanzarote, who will discuss her career and creative process with her. Born in Barcelona in 1984, she is a writer, journalist and screenwriter whose work moves between autobiographical writing and fiction. She is the author of «Piscinas vacías», «Qué vas a hacer con el resto de tu vida», «La gente no existe» and «Los astronautas», a novel that starts from her own family history.

The conversation takes place at the Casa de la Cultura Benito Pérez Armas, Plaza Remedios 1, in Yaiza. It is organised by the Asociación Cultural Picón Narrativas. Admission is free with prior registration at www.fdll.es. The talk is on Wednesday 25 November 2026 at 19:30.
