Miradas Violetas conference: technology, equality and digital wellbeingverified
Seventh edition of the Miradas Violetas conference in the Sala Contemporánea of the Auditorio de Adeje, organised by the Asociación Domitila Hernández with the Equality and Diversity Office of Adeje town council. This year's theme is technology, equality and digital wellbeing, with three talks on family digital safety, technology anxiety and cyber-equality. Taking part requires signing up through a registration form.
The seventh edition of the Miradas Violetas conference, organised by the Asociación Domitila Hernández together with the Equality and Diversity Office of Adeje town council, focuses on technology, equality and digital wellbeing: the opportunities of a hyperconnected world and the challenges it poses for equality, mental health, coexistence and the prevention of digital violence. After registration, cybersecurity project lead Samuel Ruiz Santos speaks on family digital safety in Proteger sin prohibir, and equality officer Virginia Gorrín López on gender, technology anxiety and the trap of the infinite scroll.
The programme closes with Ana Lidia Fernández-Layos, founder and director of Opciónate and an expert in gender-based cyberviolence, on Del algoritmo al activismo: cyber-equality, feminist leadership and digital citizenship. There is a break with refreshments between the talks. Taking part requires signing up through the conference registration form. It is held in the Sala Contemporánea of the Auditorio de Adeje, in the old town of Adeje, on Thursday 19 November 2026, from 08:30 to 14:45.
