The sixth edition of FICINDIE, the Festival Internacional de Cine Independiente y de Autoría de Canarias, leaves its main venue and comes to the Centro Ciudadano de Punta del Hidalgo in La Laguna on Friday 23 October 2026 at 18:00. «Invisibles» is followed by a talk and debate with its director, Vanessa Díaz Chico. With this date the festival takes part of its programme to the villages and neighbourhoods of the municipality, says La Laguna Town Council, which collaborates with FICINDIE through its tourism department. The festival, directed by Rumen Justo Reyes, runs from 1 to 31 October, with the Sala Cultural El Desleal as its main venue. The council's announcement does not give a ticket price.
