A co-production by the Yllana company and Sadler's Wells in London that crosses flamenco with the gesture comedy the group is known for. The plot follows a family of flamenco artists on tour: the traditionalist patriarch cannot stand modern influences, while the younger members experiment with rock, pop, country and house. Flamenc Oh! comes out of a collaboration between the Yllana company and Sadler's Wells in London, taking flamenco into the gesture comedy the group is known for. On stage, a touring family of flamenco artists falls apart from within: the patriarch defends tradition while the younger members throw themselves at rock, pop, country and house, with chaotic and funny results.
Yllana is behind the creation and direction, with artistic direction by David Ottone and Juan Ramos and musical direction by Juan Cañas, Daniel Rovalher and Miguel Magdalena. The cast is made up of David Bastidas, Raquel Ortega, Raúl Ortega, Anabel Moreno and Luis Gallo. It is wordless physical theatre, recommended from age 8, running 1 hour 30 minutes, with tickets from 12 to 23 €.
