Fiestas of Nuestra Señora de los Remedios 2026 in Buenavista del Norteverified
Buenavista del Norte celebrates its fiestas in honour of Nuestra Señora de los Remedios from 16 October to 1 November 2026, with an opening proclamation, the Queen gala, folk festivals, open-air dances, floats and brass bands in the town centre. The eve is Saturday 24, with a procession and fireworks, and the main day is Sunday 25, with a solemn mass led by the bishop.
The fiestas in honour of Nuestra Señora de los Remedios fill the centre of Buenavista del Norte for more than two weeks, from Friday 16 October to Sunday 1 November 2026. The official programme brings together religious events, music, folklore, children's activities and open-air dances on the Plaza de los Remedios, Calle La Alhóndiga, the central stage, the Casa de la Cultura and the parish church. Besides what is summarised below there are daily masses in the church and domino, envite and chess tournaments.
Friday 16: at 20:00, opening proclamation by Alejandrina Poleo Fortes on the central stage, followed by a concert by Los Vándalos. Saturday 17: children's activities from 10:00 on Calle La Alhóndiga and, at 21:00, the gala to elect and crown the Queen of the Fiestas 2026, followed by a dance with Los Teymar and Víctor Dj. Sunday 18: Descenso DH La Peña (10:00), vintage vehicle meet (11:00), folk festival with Cardón de Oro and Mazapé (12:30), and the presentation of the San Judas statue with the 12th Sacred Concert in the church (17:00). Wednesday 21: «Leyenda de Guayota» at the Casa de la Cultura (18:00). Friday 23: children's song festival (20:00) and a dance with the Orquesta Acapulco and Christian Dj. Saturday 24, the eve: folk festival (12:00), Las Libreas dances on Calle La Alhóndiga (19:30) and, at 21:00, mass, procession, fireworks, a parade of floats and a dance with Dj Simón and La Sabrosa. Sunday 25, the main day: diana wake-up music (09:30), arrival of the band of the Infantry Regiment «Tenerife» 49 (10:30), solemn mass with the bishop and procession (11:30), parade of floats and big-headed figures (17:00) and the Festival de Arte with the show «Ángaro» by the company Pieles (21:00). Monday 26: traditional games with Güicho (11:00), A.F. Guarche (12:00) and Augusto Báez & Germán López with Carla Vega (19:00). Friday 30: 25th Festival Tasaigo «30 años juntos» and a youth party (21:00). Saturday 31: 14th Festival de la Canción and a dance with the Orquesta Guaracha and Dj Dani de León (21:00). Sunday 1 November: Expo Bandas 2026 on the Plaza de los Remedios (18:00) and a performance by Grupo Contraste with Simón Báez (20:00).
