The Sinfónica de Tenerife opens its doors to the youngest listeners with El viaje de Cóclea, a programme conceived for babies, toddlers and families, built on live music, shared listening and freedom of movement. The project is designed by Grandes Oyentes, which treats children as a full audience in the present. This Sunday session is aimed at babies under three years of age.
El viaje de Cóclea is the programme with which the Sinfónica de Tenerife opens its doors to babies, toddlers and families. Live music, closeness, shared listening and freedom of movement come together in an experience designed to introduce the concert from the very beginning of life. The project, conceived by Grandes Oyentes, does not treat children as future spectators but as a full audience in the present: curious, sensitive, active and able to experience music with an intensity of their own.
The performances on Sunday 22 November are aimed at babies from 0 to 3 years, who may be accompanied by two adults at most, and a document proving the child's age is requested at the door. This session is the first one on the Sunday and starts at 10:30 in the Sala de Cámara. Tickets for this concert are only available at the Auditorio de Tenerife box office, by email or by telephone.
