There are two performances on Saturday 2 January, and this 21:00 one closes it. The Letsgo production reaches Tenerife after two seasons in Madrid, and the cast is to be announced. The music is by Andrew Lloyd Webber, with lyrics by Charles Hart and additional lyrics by Richard Stilgoe, based on the novel by Gaston Leroux.
The story follows a musical genius who lives hidden in the depths of a theatre and Christine, a young woman with a celestial voice who discovers the terror behind his mask. Federico Bellone's staging is built around a giant broken mirror that serves as the curtain and reveals the proscenium of a Paris opera house. Group discounts are applied at the box office only, from ten people upwards.
