Dragon Ball Super: Broly (Doragon bôru chô: Burorî), directed by Tatsuya Nagamine and written by Akira Toriyama (Japan, 2018), comes to Filmoteca Canaria’s Japón se anima cycle. Earth is at peace, but Goku knows there are enemies yet to be discovered and keeps training. One day Broly appears, a Saiyan who should have been wiped out along with planet Vegeta, and things get worse when Freezer returns from Hell. Toriyama completely reimagined the character, gave him a new origin and, for the first time, made him part of the main Dragon Ball story.

Behind his almost limitless strength is someone marked by loneliness and by his relationship with his father, and between the fights the film talks about parents and children, pride and friendship. It runs 100 minutes and is screened in the original language with Spanish subtitles at Espacio La Granja in Santa Cruz de Tenerife. Admission is free with an invitation collected in advance online or at the box office. The screening is on Thursday 12 November 2026 at 19:00.
