¿De dónde venimos? – Imprebis Teatroverified
Valencia’s Imprebis Teatro presents ¿De dónde venimos? at the Teatro Auditorio Agüimes: a show that asks what triggers the essential moments of life and what shapes our actions, drawing on the words of sages, madmen, poets and writers. The title is inspired by a painting by the Huitoto artist Rember Yahuarcani. It lasts 90 minutes, from age 12, with tickets at 8 euros.
With ¿De dónde venimos?, Valencia’s Imprebis Teatro asks itself some urgent questions: what triggers the essential moments of life, and what drives and shapes our actions? To try to answer them, the company lets itself be carried along by different art forms. The show is an invitation to create a shared moment together, a meeting in which we hear the words of sages, madmen, poets and writers, words we have never heard that speak directly to us.
The title is inspired by the painting of the same name by Rember Yahuarcani, a Huitoto visual artist from the Amazon rainforest; the canvas began as a commission for an exhibition of contemporary Amazonian art at the LUM in Lima in 2017, and the painter finished it on a visit to Spain in 2022. The show lasts 90 minutes, is recommended from age 12, and general admission costs 8 euros. It is at the Teatro Auditorio Agüimes on Saturday 24 October 2026 at 19:00.
