The 2026 Fiestas de Santa Rita take place in Araya, Candelaria, from 16 to 25 October, organised by the Araya fiesta committee with the support of the A.C. Chaxacoy. All activities are held in the Plaza de Araya unless another place is given. Other highlights include the baile de taifa on Friday 16 at 21:00, a festival on Saturday 17 at 20:00, Mass and procession on Saturday 24 at 19:30 and a street dance that night at 22:30.
