The Auditorio de Tenerife presents a concert by Carminho, one of the most personal voices in today's fado. She brings Eu vou morrer de amor ou resistir (I will die of love or resist), her seventh album: eleven songs, eight of them her own, in which the emotional core of fado sits alongside experimental music. The record has earned her two Latin Grammy 2026 nominations, for best Portuguese-language song with Memória, recorded with Rosalía, and for best Portuguese-language roots album.

She is joined by André Dias on Portuguese guitar, Flávio Cardoso on classical guitar, Pedro Geraldes on electric guitar and lap steel, Tiago Maia on acoustic bass and João Gomes on mellotron, ondes Martenot and percussion. The concert is on Saturday 24 October 2026 at 19:30 in the Sala Sinfónica, lasts about 80 minutes, and tickets cost 15 €. Once the hall doors close, latecomers are not admitted.
