8th Tricontinental Craft Fair 2026 at the Recinto Ferial de Tenerifeverified
More than 200 craftspeople from Europe, Africa and the Americas fill the Gran Nave of the Recinto Ferial de Tenerife from 24 October to 2 November, at the eighth Tricontinental Craft Fair organised by the Cabildo through the Empresa Insular de Artesanía. This year the featured country is Mexico. Entry is free, and the fair opens from 11:00 to 21:00, except from 26 to 28 October, from 16:00 to 21:00.
The eighth Tricontinental Craft Fair brings together more than 200 craftspeople from Europe, Africa and the Americas from 24 October to 2 November, in the Gran Nave of the Recinto Ferial de Tenerife, an open hall of 12,000 square metres. It is organised by the Cabildo de Tenerife through the Empresa Insular de Artesanía, and this year the spotlight is on Mexican crafts. Besides the stalls there are competitions, workshops, exhibitions and fashion shows. Entry is free. Opening hours: 11:00 to 21:00, except on 26, 27 and 28 October, from 16:00 to 21:00.
The hands-on craft workshops are free but need prior registration, with limited places: it opens on artenerife.com on 5 October at 8:00. There are workshops for adults, family workshops for children aged 3 to 17 with at least one adult, and international workshops, where craftspeople holding a Cabildo craft card have priority. The masterclasses need no registration and are open until the room is full, all at 16:15: Saturday 24, knife-making with Daniel Castro Hernández (Tenerife); Sunday 25, rebozo with Amparo Rincón (Mexico); Monday 26, molas with Myriam Rodríguez (Colombia); Tuesday 27, lutherie with David Sánchez León (Tenerife); Wednesday 28, natural fibres and dyes with Ana Celia Martínez (Mexico); Saturday 31, filigree with Katarina Doda (Macedonia); and Sunday 1 November, catrinas with Laureano Martínez (Mexico). The organisers note that the programme may change.
