The Auditorio de Tenerife hosts the Canary Islands regional round of the 25th Intercentros Melómano, the performance prize for soloists in its professional conservatoire category. Students from the professional conservatoires of Santa Cruz de Tenerife and Las Palmas de Gran Canaria take part, across a range of instruments. Intercentros Melómano is an initiative of the Fundación Orfeo, set up in 2002 so that conservatoire students can face an audience and a jury in professional-style competitions.
The auditions take place in the Sala de Cámara of the Auditorio de Tenerife in Santa Cruz, with performances of up to 15 minutes and free repertoire. Afterwards the jury withdraws to deliberate, and the diplomas are then presented. Entry is free until the hall is full. It starts on Saturday 14 November 2026 at 16:00.
