Mercado del Agricultor de Arona

On Calle Cooperativa in Valle San Lorenzo, the Arona farmers market gathers growers from the south of the island on Friday and Saturday mornings. This is the pantry of the Abona Chasna district, with dryland and irrigated market gardens, fruit, wine from the area and homemade preserves. If you are staying on the southern coast, it is the most direct way to buy local produce without going through a supermarket.
