The twenty-ninth pilgrimage to Candelaria organised by the Santiago del Teide firefighters, with the support of the town council of the Villa Histórica.
The walk starts at 7:00 from the Iglesia de la Concepción in La Laguna. The change of starting point is new this year and was made for safety reasons: the group takes the old road from La Laguna instead of the previous route.
For those coming from the municipality there is a pick-up at 5:00 from three points: Puerto de Santiago (at the post office), Tamaimo (Disa Tamaimo) and Valle (Plaza de la Iglesia).
