XXI Desfile Folclórico de las Comunidades: folk parade along Las Canterasverified
On Thursday 1 October at 18:30, all the groups taking part in the XXI Festival Folclórico de las Comunidades parade from calle Pelayo to the Auditorio Alfredo Kraus along the Avenida de Las Canteras in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria. The parade is part of the Fiestas del Pilar in Guanarteme, held from 30 September to 12 October, and the festival opens at 20:00 in the Plaza del Pilar.
On Thursday 1 October at 18:30, all the groups taking part in the XXI Festival Folclórico de las Comunidades make their way along the Avenida de Las Canteras in the XXI Desfile Folclórico de las Comunidades. They set off from calle Pelayo and finish at the Auditorio Alfredo Kraus in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.
The parade is included in the programme of the Fiestas de la Virgen del Pilar 2026, which the Guanarteme neighbourhood celebrates from 30 September to 12 October. Afterwards, at 20:00, the festival opens in the Plaza del Pilar, with the participation of the Canary Islands, Aragón, Extremadura and Venezuela.
