43rd Guía de Isora craft fair, with workshops, threshing display and classic cars
On Sunday 13 September at 10:00 the 43rd Guía de Isora craft fair opens with performances by the groups Sámara, La Quincena and Parranderos de Tágara. Through the day there are traditional workshops, re-enactments of threshing and of the shepherd's leap, traditional wooden carts and an exhibition of classic cars from 1960 to 1980 staged by the Adacates association. The Viejo del Tambor also walks the streets again with his traditional drumming.

The municipal programme places the fair at «the usual grounds» and does not name the exact location, because locally it is taken as known. We are not assuming it: the sensible thing is to ask in the old town itself or check the council's channels beforehand. The fair reaches its forty-third edition, which makes it one of the longest-running craft events in the south of the island.
