On arrival, in the church square, salpicón and papas arrugadas are served. The council asks residents and shops to decorate balconies and windows, and encourages people to come in traditional dress. The romería also has a punto violeta, an information stand set up to prevent harassment and violence. At 17:30, in the same square, the orchestras take over.
