It is a unique tradition celebrating its fortieth edition this year. The action takes over the Plaza de San Miguel and the surrounding streets, beside the parish church.

They say that on this night hell opens its doors and that nobody is safe from the Perro Maldito. The event is a display of street theatre, dance and pyrotechnics that is unique in the archipelago, sustained by the effort and creativity of many residents of the municipality. The celebration then continues with fireworks near the Montaña del Anís and a large open air dance in the Plaza Tifariti, both at one in the morning.
