The university symphonic band plays at midday on the Cathedral square, in its nineteenth appearance within the fiestas. It is a morning concert, outdoors and on one of the finest squares of the old town, and works very well as the calm plan of the programme's last Sunday.
On Sunday 20 September 2026 at 12:00 the Symphonic Band of the University of La Laguna gives its 19th concert within the Fiestas del Cristo, on the Cathedral square.
It is one of the few musical acts of the programme that happens in broad daylight and on a square other than Plaza del Cristo. The Cathedral square is also the setting for the institutional acts of the main day, so if you could not go on the 14th, this is a calm way to get to know it. Free and outdoors.
