The eve of Taganana's patron brings the entry of the Banner through La Librea, the solemn Mass and the procession.
At 21:30 the Rosary is said and at 22:00 the Banner of Taganana enters the parish church through La Librea. The solemn Mass follows, with the sermon by Reverend Aníbal Antonio Hernández Socas and music by the parish choir of Ntra. Sra. de la Concepción of Santa Cruz de Tenerife.
After Mass the solemn procession of the Virgin sets off along the customary route, and at 23:30 the verbena begins with Sonora Olympia.
Taganana is a village in the Anaga massif, among ravines, laurel forest and sea. Arriving at night means planning for the road.
