Farm visits to Mar y Sol, Ecoalpispa and Finca La Costa for Rural Women's Day in Icodverified
On Friday 16 October, departing at 9:30 from the old municipal market in Icod de los Vinos, there are visits to three local farms: Mar y Sol, Ecoalpispa and Finca La Costa. Prior registration at the Casa Andrés de Lorenzo Cáceres is required. The visits close the town's programme for the International Day of Rural Women.
Icod de los Vinos devotes several days in October to the International Day of Rural Women, marked on 15 October, with a municipal programme honouring the women who keep the town's countryside alive, from the vineyards to the coastal farms.
On Friday 16 October 2026 the programme heads out to the countryside: at 9:30 the visits to the Mar y Sol, Ecoalpispa and Finca La Costa farms leave from the old municipal market. To take part you need to register beforehand at the Casa Andrés de Lorenzo Cáceres, on the square of the same name. The programme gives neither a price nor a return time.
