Un verano naranja - Tuga (FIC 2026)verified
Un verano naranja by the mime Tuga opens Friday's programme in Plaza del Príncipe, Santa Cruz de Tenerife, as part of the Festival Internacional Clownbaret (FIC) 2026. Sand, sea, seagulls and plenty of sun cream: Tuga will do anything for the best beach day of his life, even if he splashes everyone around him. For ages 5 and up, 50 minutes, on Friday 9 October 2026 at 19:30.
Behind Tuga is Rodolfo Meneses, a Chilean mime and clown who since 2000 has made the street his main place of creation. Trained in Buenos Aires with teachers such as Roberto Escobar and Igon Lerchundi, he created the character Tuga in Valparaíso in 2005. He also directed the Festival Internacional Invasión Callejera from 2009 to 2012.
In Un verano naranja, Tuga offers a summer that tastes of asphalt and will stop at nothing to have the best beach day of his life, even if it means splashing one person or another: young and old may well end up soaked with laughter. It runs 50 minutes and is for ages 5 and up. It takes place in Plaza del Príncipe on Friday 9 October 2026 at 19:30.
