In 2023, comedians José María Listorti, Pachu Peña and Sebastián Almada joined forces to create Tertawa. The show combines a selection of sketches and characters from VideoMatch with new characters, music and lively interaction with the audience, blending nostalgia for the classic Videomatch with present-day humour.
After a run at Paseo La Plaza on Calle Corrientes in Buenos Aires and a tour of Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, Bolivia and the United States, Tertawa comes to Spain for the first time with its Río de la Plata humour. It runs for about 120 minutes and is recommended for ages 14 and over. Tickets cost €32 in the stalls and €28 in the balcony. The performance is on Friday 9 October 2026 at 20:30 at the Centro Cultural Federico García Lorca in Ingenio (Gran Canaria).
