Led by astrophysicist Ana García, founder of AstroLaPalma and LaPalmaStars.com and organiser of AstroFest La Palma, the workshop is designed as an introduction to night landscape photography. It opens with a theory session, «¿Qué podemos fotografiar en el cielo? Preparamos nuestro equipo» (what can we photograph in the sky, and how to prepare the equipment), followed at 21:30 by a practical session putting the techniques into practice. Participants must bring their own camera, able to shoot at ISO 3200 or higher, a tripod and a remote shutter release.
The activity takes place at the Museo Casa Roja in Villa de Mazo and outdoors around it, Calle Maximiliano Pérez Díaz 23. It is free until places run out; it is organised by SODEPAL, funded by the Tourism Department of the Cabildo de La Palma and supported by the Villa de Mazo town council. The workshop starts on Thursday 8 October 2026 at 19:00.
