On Tuesday 6 October 2026 at 16:30, El Bosquito in La Marzagana is the setting for the La Perdoma Fiestas horseback ring race. In the sortija, riders at a gallop try to spear a hanging ring. The programme states that insurance and a helmet are compulsory for riders taking part. That same evening at 19:30, the third day of the triduum is celebrated, a solemn Eucharist with the parish choir.
It is part of the 2026 La Perdoma Fiestas, which this neighbourhood of La Orotava celebrates from 30 September to 11 October in honour of its patron saints, Our Lady of the Most Holy Rosary and Saint Jerome, with more than 70 years of festive history. The La Perdoma Fiestas Committee prepares the programme with the support of the Town Council of La Orotava. On Sunday 11 October, from 18:00, a fireworks display is planned: the organisers ask residents to keep pets away from the noise and to warn people who are sensitive to it. The Committee reserves the right to change or cancel any event, and changes are announced on social media.
