Taganana's main day: solemn Mass at midday and fireworks by the Hermanos Toste at the end.
5 August is the solemnity of Santa María la Mayor, Our Lady of the Snows, patron of Taganana. At 11:30 the Rosary is said and at 12:00 the Mass of the main feast is celebrated, presided over by Reverend Julio Ribot Rodríguez, with the San Buenaventura choir from La Orotava.
It ends with fireworks by the Hermanos Toste, and at 20:00 there is a verbena with Pepe Benavente.
The Taganana festivities run from 24 July to 16 August, with the octave on 15 August.
