The Mass of the main day is presided over by the bishop of the diocese of Tenerife, with the group Los Perenquenes singing.
At 12:30 the solemn religious service in honour of Saint Dominic de Guzmán is held, patron and titular of the neighbourhood parish. The Eucharist is presided over by Monsignor Eloy Alberto Santiago Santiago, bishop of the diocese of Tenerife, together with the parish priest Airán Expósito Hernández.
The Mass is sung by the group Los Perenquenes. A bishop attending a neighbourhood festival is not routine, and it gives a sense of how much this celebration matters in La Guancha.
