The church stays open all day on this date, according to the parish notice, unlike its usual Monday to Friday hours. At the end of the mass, at 12:00, the livestock parade passes before the venerated image and the solemn civic and religious procession sets off through the streets of the village. The festivities in honour of San Miguel Arcángel have been held every 29 September since 1672.
