Solemn religious service in honour of Nuestra Señora del Pino – Puerto Lajasverified
On Monday 12 October, the last day of the Puerto Lajas festival in honour of Nuestra Señora del Pino, the Ermita de Puerto Lajas in Puerto del Rosario, Fuerteventura, holds the solemn religious service at 13:00. It comes after the romería from the Plaza de la Iglesia in Puerto del Rosario along the old coastal path, and is followed at 13:30 by a procession on land and sea across the bay.
The Puerto Lajas festival in honour of Nuestra Señora del Pino 2026 runs from 6 to 12 October. On the last day, the romería sets off from the Plaza de la Iglesia in Puerto del Rosario to the Ermita de Puerto Lajas along the old coastal path, and at 13:30 a procession on land and sea takes the image of the Virgin by boat across the bay of Puerto Lajas.
