Solemn mass and procession of the Virgen del Rosario and Santa Úrsula, with fireworksverified
On Sunday 18 October, the Parroquia de Santa Úrsula Mártir honours the Virgen del Rosario, co-patroness of the municipality: the rosary is prayed at 19:00, the solemn mass begins at 19:30, and then the Virgen del Rosario and Santa Úrsula go out in procession with the A.M.C. Ernesto Beteta. A fireworks display closes the day. It is part of the Fiestas Patronales de Santa Úrsula.
On Sunday 18 October, the Parroquia de Santa Úrsula Mártir celebrates the feast of the Virgen del Rosario, co-patroness of the municipality. The rosary is prayed at 19:00 and the solemn mass begins at 19:30, followed by the procession and a fireworks display.
The sermon is given by Rev. Daniel Padilla Piñero, canon doctoral of the cathedral, and the Coro Parroquial de Santa Úrsula sings during the mass. After the mass, the Virgen del Rosario and Santa Úrsula are carried in solemn procession, accompanied by civil and religious authorities, brotherhoods and confraternities, with music by the A.M.C. Ernesto Beteta, a band from the municipality itself. The evening ends with fireworks. It is part of the Fiestas Patronales de Santa Úrsula, organised by the Ayuntamiento de Santa Úrsula from 4 to 25 October in honour of Santa Úrsula Mártir and Nuestra Señora del Rosario.
