Mass, procession of San Joaquín, the Virgen de la Paz and Santa Ana, and fireworks in Tamaimoverified
On Saturday 26 September at 21:00 Tamaimo holds the mass, celebrated by the parish priest D. Yoel Antonio Somoza Odreman and sung by the parish choir of Tamaimo. The images of San Joaquín, the Virgen de la Paz and Santa Ana then go out in procession along the customary route, accompanied by the municipal band of Santiago del Teide, authorities and worshippers, with fireworks on the way.
Saturday night is the eve of the main day of the Fiestas de San Joaquín y la Virgen de la Paz 2026 in Tamaimo, Santiago del Teide. The fiestas run from 24 to 27 September and are organised by the Comisión de Fiestas San Joaquín y la Virgen de la Paz 2026 with the town council of Santiago del Teide. The mass and the procession follow the customary route through the village.
