The route covers 9.43 km along the final stretch of the Ruta de los Volcanes, between the San Antonio volcano and the Fuencaliente lighthouse. It is walked at night, with guided explanations along the way and a stop at the Roque Teneguía archaeological site.
The walk ends with stargazing at the Fuencaliente salt pans. The difficulty is rated medium and the expected duration is around four hours. The meeting point is Plaza de España in Santa Cruz de La Palma, where the transport leaves at 19:00.
