Trumpeter Rubén Simeó brings his Tour’26 to La Palma for a concert with the Banda Municipal de Música de Los Llanos de Aridane, conducted by Antonio Ramos Díaz, coinciding with the 168th anniversary of this historic Los Llanos ensemble. Founded on 17 October 1858, the band today combines veteran musicians with new generations trained at its own academy.
Simeó trained under Maurice André and has a long international career as a soloist. His Tour’26 puts the trumpet at the centre of a programme that moves between works from the classical repertoire, film scores, popular music and technically demanding pieces. Tickets cost €10 and are sold at the premises of the Banda Municipal de Música and at the Casa de la Cultura. The concert is on Saturday 17 October 2026 at 20:30 at the Auditorio Insular Tomás Cabrera Martín in Los Llanos de Aridane (La Palma).
